Deals arent fantastic... google says people typically spend 30 mins here..must be talking about waiting in line! Your neighborhood waithouse! Pic shows the line to even get to the registers halfway through the store (on both sides) been in like for 15 minutes now.

Great place to shop. Need to know average prices before shopping as some things are more expensive. Membership would be worthwhile if we lived closer, otherwise won't buy one. Staff is usually friendly, focused and professional. Store is very clean. Cashiers very quick to get you through. Lunch counter is awesome with great food, and deals at a fraction of what you would expect to pay.

Was convinced by a friend to visit this Cosco Location in Fredericton with the possibility of joining as a member. Went early on Sat. to beat the crowd. Went in through a big garage door into a concrete warehouse. What I didn't expect was to be treated like a trespasser by their "Screener" or whatever they call it. She sure wasn't a "Greeter". Her name tag said Manon. She nodded to my hello and I proceeded into the warehouse. Was with another non-member and he felt we were being stared at. We sure were-by Manon and a staff member in Jewelry - Nick. We stopped to ask Nick if we were breaking the rules as non-members. He was very professional and explained Executive Membership (which confused us more) and he suggested we check back with Manon for direction. WELL... Manon was totally agitated and wickedly mad. Like we had stolen the crown jewels. She actually hissed at us when we asked what we were supposed to do to visit the store to consider joining. Eventually we understood that she was spewing rules and regulations and something about the Membership desk through the other garage door. So...through the second door we scooted..more to get away from the wrath of MANON than any further interest in giving MY money to this very unfriendly place. In fairness Nick was nice...but Manon certainly blew the sale. I returned today, Sunday with a member friend and a chip on my sholder. But that chip made me have a good look around. I'll be sticking with retailers that don't charge me to shop in their store and have abusive greeters and stressful entrances. On the positive side. Great parking lot. That's it. I'll save my 75.00 get equal to or better deals on items I want/need from non-member stores. (I'm thinking that Costco makes a PILE of money on membershps) Their prices are not that much cheaper.
